Manju started her training in childhood, in the Chembai bani (style), with her grandmother C.K.Cheriyamma, a prime disciple of Chembai Vaidyanatha Bhagavathar for more than 40 years. Chembai was a close family friend and Manju’s grandmother’s Guru. Manju also trained under the notable Palakkad C.S. Krishna Iyer.
Trained extensively under Mandolin U. Shrinivas in vocal to improve her repertoire and style.

Sabhas - a recognized concert singer who has performed in major sabhas including Narada Gana Sabha, Tamil Isai Sangam, Karthik Fine Arts, Bharat Kalachar and Hamsadhwani.
Discography - has brought out recordings, including original Sanskrit compositions by Sri Swami Dayanada Saraswati of Arshavidya Gurkulam, Saylorsburg and Coimbatore (available at the ashram in Saylorsburg, PA - www. arshavidya.org).
